Brutal Murder & Two Missing Person

What a way to kick start a new year!

If you don't already know, there was a brutal murder in Sibu, Sarawak two days ago.

"SIBU: Four members of a family were brutally murdered and another seriously injured in their double storey terrace house at 1H Lorong RTM13B, about 5km from here, about 7.30am on Tuesday.
Police have identified the victims as Ling Tong Hock, 36; his son David Ling Chei Qi, 10; daughter Amy Ling Zi Jiun, 7; and his 76-year-old mother Leong Nyuk Lan.
Tong Hock's eight-year-old son Kelvin Ling Chei You, who was seriously injured in the attack, has been warded in the Intensive Care Unit of the Sibu Hospital." - Cited from The Star, 2011. (Click the link for the whole story).
How can this world be like this! Such a crude human being to harm a 76 years old lady and 3 young kids. (Not to say murdering a middle-aged man or woman is not cruel, you know what I mean). I don't know how the person can do it.
There's also one thing that creates suspense. The news reported that the wife quickly locked the door and escaped through the window to look for help. Honestly speaking, I feel that there is something wrong here. A normal human being wouldn't respond like that in such situation, don't you think so? Just my personal opinion, you can disagree with me. I, for one, would probably wonder what the commotion is about and went down to check. She seems to be very alert about the situation.
Next, there is the news about the flood in Kuching, Sarawak today.

"KUCHING: A Form 6 girl and a petrol station worker are missing after being swept away by rushing waters in a storm drain at Jalan Rock around 7am today. Witnesses said the student, Kho Ying Qi, was on her way to school in rainy conditions, when she suddenly slipped and fell into the drain." - The Borneo Post, 2011
"When the fireman climbed out of the drain he was informed that petrol station worker Herman Sihas had earlier jumped in after the girl. However, there was no sign of him. Herman, 28, who is from Lundu, only started working at the petrol station recently. His elder sister, civil servant, said she was not surprised her brother had risked his own life to rescue Kho. He apparently does not know how to swim." - The Borneo Post, 2011

I salute Herman.
May God be with two of them.
Amen.
